Log in to the DNSIO official website, select “Domain Resolution,” click on “My Resolutions,” choose the domain name you need to add a resolution for, click the “Resolve” button to enter the resolution list, and then click the “Add” button to add a resolution record.

1、How to Add an A Record

After entering the resolution list, if you need to point the domain name to a specific IP, you need to add an A record. Click the “Add” button, fill in the host record, select type A, enter the record value, and then click “Submit” to complete the resolution addition. For the A record value, please enter your server IP. If you don’t know it, please consult your hosting provider.

2、How to Add a CNAME Record

After entering the resolution list, if you need to point the domain name to another domain, which then provides the IP address, you need to add a CNAME record. Click the “Add” button, fill in the host record, select type CNAME, enter the record value, and then click “Submit” to complete the resolution addition. For the CNAME record value, enter the domain provided by your hosting provider, for example: www.dns.io.

3、How to Add an AAAA Record

After entering the resolution list, if you need to point the domain name to a specific IPv6 address, you need to add an AAAA record. Click the “Add” button, fill in the host record, select type AAAA, enter the record value, and then click “Submit” to complete the resolution addition. For the AAAA record value, enter the IPv6 address provided by your hosting provider.

4、How to Add an MX Record

After entering the resolution list, if you need to set up email to receive mail, you need to add an MX record. Click the “Add” button, fill in the host record, select type MX, enter the record value, and then click “Submit” to complete the resolution addition.

5、How to Add a TXT Record

After entering the resolution list, if you need to add an SPF record (anti-spam), you need to add a TXT record. Click the “Add” button, fill in the host record, select type TXT, enter the record value, and then click “Submit” to complete the resolution addition. The TXT record value can contain any content.

6、How to Add an SRV Record

After entering the resolution list, if you need to add an SRV record, click the “Add” button, fill in the host record, select type SRV, enter the record value, and then click “Submit” to complete the resolution addition. This record specifies which computer provides which service. The format is: service name, dot, protocol type, for example: _xmpp-server._tcp.

7、How to Add a CAA Record

After entering the resolution list, if you need to add a CAA record (Certificate Authority Authorization), click the “Add” button, fill in the host record, select type CAA, enter the record value, and then click “Submit” to complete the resolution addition.

8、How to Add an NS Record

After entering the resolution list, if you need to delegate a subdomain to another DNS provider, you need to add an NS record. Click the “Add” button, fill in the host record, select type NS, enter the record value, and then click “Submit” to complete the resolution addition.

9、How to Add URL Forwarding

Log in to the DNSIO official website, select “Domain Resolution,” click on “My Resolutions,” choose the domain for which you want to add URL forwarding, click the “URL Forwarding” button to enter the forwarding list, and then click the “Add” button to add a URL forwarding record.
